The numbers are in!
According to Ford, the base Mustang will be equipped with an upgraded 3.7-liter V-6 that develops 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Mustang GT comes with a 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine producing 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque.
And lastly, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine now delivers 310 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque.
“This EcoBoost engine delivers the healthy output Mustang drivers expect, regardless of the car’s speed,” said Scott Makowski, EcoBoost powertrain engineering manager. “It delivers where a Mustang driver expects it to – with a broad, flat torque curve and great driveability under any conditions.”
