A Pottstown woman was injured when her car crashed into the porch of a house overnight along Route 422 in Exeter Township, police said.
The crash happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. when Victoria Aching, 25, lost control of her westbound car on Perkiomen Avenue, which is Route 422, Exeter police said.
The car struck the concrete median barrier and caromed across both westbound lanes before crashing into a porch near Stopper’s Steak and Seafood, a restaurant at 6421 Perkiomen Ave.
When emergency responders arrived, the car was covered by the porch roof and debris.
Aching was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for unspecified injuries, polices said.
No one else was injured. It was unclear from the report if the home was occupied at the time.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the crash.
