IPC EDGE, an online learning platform, was launched one year ago, to deliver educational programs to the electronics industry.  The site currently contains more than 40 courses including IPC Essentials, CIS prep courses and ESD Certification.  IPC continues to expand the product offering and would like to announce new courses recently added to IPC EDGE.

Two of the new courses are IPC/WHMA-A-620C Redline and IPC-7711/21C Redline. These products provide a video explanation of significant changes between revision B to revision C. If you are looking for a quick overview of the changes, then these online courses will fill the need. Please note you will have access to these courses for one full year from time of purchase.

Another new course is Component Level Defects/Acceptance Criteria from IPC-A-610F. This course is ideal for operator level training in acceptance criteria for components on finished or partially finished electronics assemblies. With trained operators, your quality level of electronic assemblies will improve throughout your facility.

The fourth course being introduced is the Automotive Applications Addendum Certification Module to IPC-6012D. This certification module is only being offered online and requires users to have completed and be certified to IPC-6012D. This module builds on the credentials of performance and qualifications for the fabrication of printed rigid boards and provides the additional specification requirements for the automotive industry.

IPC would like to thank you for supporting and using IPC EDGE. We will continue to provide you with relevant and current educational products to help educate your workforce and reach your business goals. For more information, visit www.ipc.com/edge.
