Take the Stress Out of Your Cleaning Routine With This Checklist

Let’s be real. No one likes cleaning. OK, maybe that’s not totally true — there is a select population who almost considers a good cleaning sesh akin to therapy. But the rest of us tend to procrastinate until the sight of the mess we have created makes us want to scream.

We all know what comes next. Harried, frantic cleaning, some curse words and probably at least a couple of tears. It’s happened to the best of us, but the end result is usually worth the pain. But what if we told you it doesn’t have to be this way?

Not long ago, I realized those dramatic cleaning sessions could be totally avoided if I just actually did have things together, at least as far as my house goes. Hence, the daily cleaning schedule entered my world.

Cleaning just a little bit every day keeps everything somewhat in order and totally manageable, so I don’t have to panic when my mom says she’s going to swing by later. It may seem like a pain to clean something every single day, but it won’t take you long to realize that just a few minutes every day is so much better than your entire Saturday, right?
