TIS THE FESTIVE SEASON... SO LET'S CELEBRATE... ANGEL STYLE

This month's theme is all about something our team is super passionate about... the implementation of tenant payment reference systems. We have worked tirelessly this year with several agencies to assist them in implementing a system that works to avoid the issue of unidentified funds. Our two blogs this month cover our Top 5 reasons to implement such a system, and how to go about it.

The highlight of our event calendar this month was our client and partner Christmas party where we partied into the wee hours of 1am. Yep, when we do things, we do them well. A big thank you to all of our amazing clients and partners that attended and an even bigger thank you for the wonderful year working together. Here's to many more.

On the Job...

As you'll read more below, we welcomed our newest member Veronique to the team. Veronique completed her certification at the College for Certificate of Registration and got started familiarising herself with the industry.

New course material was rolled out this month and Jane conducted a Trust Accounting Course for Strata Managers on behalf of ACOP.

The Reconciliation team have been working hard finalising ongoing fraud matters for our clients. It has been a timely reminder about the importance of implementing systems to eliminate fraud. We have blogged previously about the implementation of software user restrictions to minimise the likelihood of fraud in your agency. It is well worth the 5 minutes to make a cuppa and have a quick read.

This month, End of Month Angels received our BAS certification. Our Bookkeeping Manager Tracy would like to remind everyone that lodgement of your September BAS is now due for lodgement and payment. EOFY 16/17 is also due.

Out at Play...

The team celebrated Melbourne cup with a lunch at Penny Lane café. Jerome took out the sweepstake whilst Jane sadly missed the celebrations to teach trust accounting (let's hope he shared his winnings).

The big boss celebrated her birthday on the 8^th November and we celebrated as a team with an amazing mousse cake from Tell Cake Boutique followed by Jerome treating Jane to a 9 course degustation at Tetsuya’s. She was very spoiled indeed... as all good bosses should.

JOIN US AS WE WELCOME OUR NEWEST ANGEL

We are delighted to introduce our newest Angel, Veronique to the team! Veronique has worked with us behind the scenes since May 2017, but we now welcome her with open arms as a full time member of the team.

Veronique joins us after an admirable 20 years service for Centrelink for 20 years (insert applause). She yearned for greener pastures and End of Month Angels was the happy recipient. You may also notice a slight sibling resemblance to our Operations Manager Jerome...but we won't hold that against her.

With her 20 years public service under her belt, Veronique has exceptional customer service and an above and beyond ethic for data entry perfection. Her exceptional eye for detail ensures that no stone goes unturned (she is fitting in fabulously).

Veronique joins us as our Trust Account Administrator and is keen to learn the ropes of the industry. So next time you call the office and speak to Veronique, be sure to say hello and welcome her to the team.

OUR CHRISTMAS REMINDERS...

A friendly reminder about our office happenings over the festive break...

We are seeing agencies take advantage of their quieter period and utilising our services to optimise their internal processes. We are assisting with new software implementation and migrations, helping clients to change and adapt with minimal downtime.

The cloud is reigning supreme... and as such, we will be conducting several software migrations over the Christmas period. We are seeing many agencies shift away from their clunky, server-based trust accounting software and progressing to the cloud.

If you are thinking of conducting a software migration, you are not too late! We are taking bookings up until the 5th December so contact the office in the coming weeks to book.

Our office will be formally closed from 22^nd December – 8^th January 2018.
Services will remain as normal for our outsourced clients
