Masonic Lodge celebrates 100 years

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Dougherty County Masonic Lodge #591 celebrated a big milestone Saturday.
Members of the Lodge held a ceremony and lunch for their 100 year celebration. They started the lodge in October 1914.
The group rededicated a cornerstone of the lodge as part of a traditional way to celebrate. “We're thankful of all our history and tradition here. So, any event that will actually recognize that or remind us of all the people that come before us, is kind of a special event for us.” Said Tony Blakey, Master of Dougherty County Masonic Lodge #591.
Masonic Lodge #591 is one of several in Dougherty County.
