Very bad autocorrect problems with ios7!!

Hi

So I've had this issue that's bugged me since I upgraded to ios7, it involves the autocorrect feature on the keyboard, the same problem occurs on my iPhone 5s and my iPad (4th gen).

So basically whenever I put a ' in a word it messes things up, for example when I want to use something like "it's" or "they're" it does some weird thing. It basically moves the 's or whatever to the beginning of the next word!!

For example I am going to type "it's sad" below and see what happens.

I think it' sass that they're going to close that store, it' snot a good idea at all!

See what happened above there with the ' being moved?! Does anyone else have this issue or had this issue? I've tried clearing keyboard cache too :(

This only happens when I use the apostrophe short cut by holding down the exclamation mark button though, it does not happen if I just type its (which sometimes autocorrects to it's) and does not happen on the number mode by pressing the 123 button.

I've tried this on iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5s, iPad mini, iPad 2 and iPad 4th Gen and always get the same errors happening. Unfortunately I can't really turn off auto correct because of the tremors in my hands, so it's vital for me...

I've noticed there aren't any other threads about it but I've seen people posting about it on other forums, no one seems to have a solution, maybe because a lot of users don't know the apostrophe short cut exists or something?!

Give it a try on your device. Type the keys in the following order, using the short cut apostrophe by holding the exclamation mark, obviously don't put the spaces between the characters...

I t ' s n o t and it turns it to it' snot!

Are you using US English keyboard?

???

The apostrophe is next to the exclamation mark. I just tap the apostrophe.

Holding down the exclamation mark button brings up the exclamation mark ! and the upside down exclamationmark ¡

And you shouldn't have to turn off autocorrect, Nickc25. I'm having the same problems and it's driving me nuts! However, the problems are on my iPad 2 and iPod.

I type in:

That's good I get That' stood

That's right I get That' straight

That's well I get That' swell

That's swinging I get That' swinging

That's swing I get That' straight

That's not I get That' snot

and more!

I think it is a bug as it was just fine before IOS 7. I have tried resetting the dictionary, uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard, and everything else suggested. Nothing worked. Nothing!

I wish I had a solution. My professional emails are no longer professional looking! It's embarrasing to have a pharase like It' snot in your email! Would love a solution!

Apple, it's unconscionable this issue has existed since last Fall and it is still not fixed. Turning off Autocorrect is NOT an option. When users type on a glass screen and have to switch/shift to get to common characters like apostrophes, we need autocorrect to work right. (Typing common words 'don't' or 'can't' becomes a chore with no Autocorrect.) (Funny. Autocorrect just changed can't to cant—a much less common word. Geez.)

Apple, please please get on this. It's killing anyone who writes a lot on an iPad or uses your devices or a lot of email, etc.
