James Madison's Cameron Starke helped the Dukes top nationally-ranked Liberty on the road while Delaware, Maine, Old Dominion and Richmond all garnered non-conference wins over FCS opponents.  William and Mary garnered a win in its home-opener over New Haven, while Villanova stumbled in its home-opener against Monmouth.

The league saw seven rushers eclipse 100-yards Saturday, while three receivers hauled in more than 100 yards through the air.
