CAA Football To Live Stream Weekly Coaches Media Teleconference * AUG. 29th LINK AVAILABLE HERE

RICHMOND, Va. (August 25, 2011) --
New this season, CAA Football will give its fans more access than ever before to its weekly media teleconferences. Logon to CAAFootball.com each Monday at 10 a.m. (ET) to find a link which will open a free audio stream of the teleconference. After accessing the audio stream fans will be encouraged to use Twitter (@The_CAAFootball) to engage the call by submitting your questions for our league's coaches.

The teleconferences will take place each Monday throughout the 2011 regular season and postseason, beginning Monday, Aug. 29. The scheduled calls will come to an end when the final CAA Football team completes its season in the 2011 NCAA Division I National Championships.

The teleconference will open with the release of the selected player of the week winners, a recap of the weekend and a preview of the upcoming week. CAA Football coaches will be available to answer questions beginning at 10:10 a.m. (ET). The call's weekly lineup is listed below. Over the course of the season the league may incorporate a featured student-athlete segment at 12 p.m., announcing when the student-athlete segments will be used in advance of the specific call.

Any fans or media members tweeting comments made on the live teleconference are encouraged to use the CAA Football teleconference hashtag: #CAAFBtc. Audio files from each of the weekly teleconferences will be archived on The CAA Football Pressbox website via CAAFootball.com each Monday after 1 p.m.

CAA Football is poised for yet another run at the NCAA Division I National Championship in 2011. The league, which will welcome Old Dominion to its fold in in 2011, returns six All-Americans and 12 First Team All-CAA Football award winners from 2010. CAA Football has seen one of its league members advance to the Division I National Championship game seven of the last eight seasons and each of the last five years. Delaware and James Madison (2003-04) and Richmond and Villanova (2008-09) twice earned consecutive National Championships for the league in its championship appearance span dating back to 2003. CAA Football will again add to its full-time member roster in 2012 when Georgia State joins the fold.
