Painted Crow students engaged in the magical process of intuitive painting
Dear <<First Name>>,

It's almost time for another weekend painting intensive! And this time I'm offering the option of really immersing yourself in the process and staying and painting in the studio all night!

• Summer Weekend Painting Intensive •

Give yourself one last gift of summer - the gift of a full weekend of intensely nourishing
creativity, play & color.

2 Full days of painting!!!

Kind of like a slumber party, but it's a painting party!

In other news, my last newsletter ended with, "Change is afoot, and it's inspiring some big plans for you at the Painted Crow this fall, so stay tuned for more information about what that's about soon!" Well, a big part of that change is that my marriage of 20+ years is in the process of ending. (You can read more about that here on my blogpost "Packing Up A LIfe".) This is a very sad and challenging time. AND, because of my intuitive painting practice and what it's taught me about staying in the process, I'm able to see beyond the grief to the the exciting possibilities that this major change is opening up. I shared one of those exciting possibilities, transforming this pain into healing and growth, in that blog post:

"... I do know this much: I know that there are two things that are largely responsible for helping me get through this very disorienting process in a way that is not just surviving something I thought could never happen (and if it did, that it would be the end of me), but also finding a way to truly grow and thrive in the experience. One is my intuitive painting practice (the same that I teach here at Painted Crow), the other is making a point of regularly connecting with female friends.

And this is why I needed to share. Because I want to make these healing practices available to other women who are also experiencing, or have recently experienced, uncoupling from a major relationship. So this fall I will be adding another Creative Flight class time that is specifically for these women to gather in a safe space to connect with each other, and to reconnect with themselves and their creativity through the practice of intuitive process painting. A new Painted Crow schedule is in the works (between packing and unpacking boxes and re-creating my life) and is coming very soon, so stay tuned. If you have any questions, please email me at angela@paintedcrowstudio.com."

I'm really looking forward to getting back to teaching, and to connecting with all my truly wonderful students.

More new plans next time, including plans for getting to work regularly with those of you who don't happen to live here in Tacoma!

In so much gratitude,
Angela
PS - As always, please contact me if you'd like to purchase my artwork. Thank you!

PPS - Oh! And I now have a new art portfolio website! Websites are always a constant work in progress so there's more to add, and a few things to tweak, but I've got it up and working, so please come by and visit at www.angelawalesrockett.com.
